A letter from our Managing Director

By: Colin Bohanna, Managing Director, UK

Hi there,

I’m thrilled to be joining Dye & Durham UK as the new Managing Director.

Having worked in the technology space since the late 1990s, I’ve seen how transformative great technology can be, especially when it’s purpose-built to support the people who keep essential industries moving. That’s what drew me to legal tech, and to this business.

What we have here is truly unique. With roots going back to 1978, we’ve spent the last 45+ years building, acquiring, and evolving a portfolio of specialist tools for the legal sector. Now, we’re combining our expertise, refining our offering, and investing in the future of legal services in the UK.

Since joining, I’ve been inspired by the people who work here. Across every team, there’s a deep understanding of the legal sector, and a real passion for building tools that make a difference. It’s clear to me that this isn’t just about software; it’s about service, reliability, and helping legal professionals thrive.

And the most important input we have? Yours.

Over the past few months, many of you have taken the time to share feedback—whether through our recent in-app surveys, at events, or by reaching out to us directly. Our teams have reviewed every single comment, and I want you to know that your voices are being heard.

We’ve used that feedback to help shape our product roadmap, and I’m excited to say we have a lot of great things coming. Whether it’s through better processes, smarter integrations, or simply making your day-to-day easier, everything we’re working on is designed to support legal professionals like you.

We’ll be sharing more very soon. In the meantime, thank you for your continued trust, and for being part of what comes next.

Sincerely,
Colin
